Greetings, This is Legend of YMIR.

Through previous Valhalla Letters, our Executive Producer promised a ‘Journey toward a Wider Continent.’ Now, the first gateway to that journey is finally opening.

With the upcoming November 11th(Tue) update, the long-awaited ‘Inter-Server Matching System’ will be implemented, allowing you and your friends to challenge warriors from other servers.

As we approach this grand change of new battlefields, new alliances, and new enemies, we would like to share details about the Inter-Server system so you can prepare for the new wars to come.

Inter-Server Details

1. What is the Inter-Server?

The ‘Inter-Server’ is a massive battlefield that transcends the boundaries of individual servers. Multiple servers are ‘grouped’ into one, and can interact, compete with each other in the group.

Within each region (ASIA / NAEU / SA), 2 to 3 servers will be matched into one Inter-Server Group.

Characters from other servers will have their names displayed in red, making it clear who stands as an opponent. You can also chat freely with players from other servers through Area or Normal channels, and defeating them will increase your Alignment Point.

2. Inter-Server Matching Period

Each Inter-Server matchup will be maintained for two weeks. However, to ensure a smoother and more optimized environment, we will continuously monitor server performance, and rematching may occur earlier in just one week if necessary.

3. Inter-Server Areas

With the start of Inter-Server matching, Warriors from other servers will now appear in previously server-exclusive ‘Inter’ dungeons such as Valhalla.

Additionally, with the November 11th update, a new field boss ‘Twilight Overlord Rogvalt’ will spawn in the Inter-Server area, Vale of Ragnarok.

More details will be available in the patch notes released alongside the update. Through this Inter-Server prelude, a battle for supremacy against Warriors from other servers, take your first step toward the grand saga that awaits in the Server Wars and the YMIR Cup.

4. Inter-Server Matching Criteria

As mentioned in the Valhalla Letter, Inter-Server matchups are designed to ensure fair and balanced competition between servers of comparable power.

Using various performance indicators, we have analyzed each server’s growth data to create a fair matching system. We will continue to monitor battle results and growth trends to improve the fairness and precision of future matchings.

For newly opened servers, a two-week protection period will be applied to help them establish a foundation for growth before competing with existing servers. After the two weeks have passed, the server will be matched with existing servers that have similar growth indicators during the next maintenance.

Results of the first Inter-Server Matching will be announced on the official Legend of YMIR website.
